Convocation 2022

On behalf of Prairie Western College management committee, teachers and staff, we congratulate you on attaining a great milestone in your education life. We are proud of your accomplishment and would like to join your family/friends in celebration of your success.

Congratulations on your well-deserved success in completing an important milestone in your learning journey! I hope your experience at Prairie Western College (PWC) has been one of self-discovery, transformation and achievement of goals. Graduation signifies the start of a new chapter of your life. Wherever your path leads you next, I believe that your time at PWC has prepared you well for the new challenges ahead. You deserve to see your dreams come true.

We would like to invite you to our first convocation/graduation ceremony to be held on Saturday, September 10 at 11 am – 6pm. Venue: Martha Cohen Theatre, 215 8 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2G 0K8.

Unlike other Colleges, we are not charging anything to the students for the award ceremony.

As we have limited capacity, we won’t be allowing more than two guests. This is to be followed strictly and no exceptions to be made. Guests will be permitted to enter the hall only after 2 PM and everybody should be at their seat by 3 PM. At 3 PM the doors of the hall will be shut down for the main program.  

We will provide a graduation gown and you need to return those at the gate before you leave the premises. Graduates must arrive at 11 AM for rehearsal and pictorials (individual). At 1 PM, lunch will be served for the graduates only. Pictorial with the family/guest will be at 2 PM.  After the main program at 6 PM graduates and their family/guests will be provided with dinner.
